More than a kids book!
The best thing about Blue Jay Books is the sense of community. This is so much more than your every day children’s book. We want to inspire children to do more than read. We want to inspire them to be the change we need to see in this world. This is why we are frequently seen in schools, at festivals and in shops storytelling and talking all things plastic related. We do anything from running plastic free workshops with WaterAid to running beach cleans along the coast in Dorset.

Yoga + Beach Clean
Bring the kids to this unique event brought to you by Jessie The Jellyfish and All Flow Yoga.

The event will start with an exclusive reading, by the local Bournemouth author Laurie Newman, and her new children's picture book 'Jessie The Jellyfish'. ‘Jessie The Jellyfish’ is the story of a lonely jellyfish. With no friends to be found on the reef, Jessie makes friends with a floating plastic bag. But can the sea be cleaned up in time so Jessie’s friends can return to party and play? The reading will be followed by a 30 minute yoga class suitable for parents and children. The class will have an ocean theme with lots of underwater themed poses.

We will then finish with a 10 minute beach clean to round up and your chance to buy a signed copy of the book. Let's flow and clean up the beach all together! .
